It’s no secret that I am no stranger to illustrated watercolor maps. In fact, creating custom maps- from wedding maps, to anniversary map illustrations, all the way to fun city maps- is my jam.
Anytime I travel to a new city, I like to buy a token or a piece of artwork that truly defines the spirit of the city. Are you the same way? So, inspired by my desire for unique keepsakes, I combined my passion for watercolor maps with my adventurous spirit- and the idea of creating fun maps of various cities around the world was born!
And now, I am introducing the first map of the collection: the fun, the always fabulous, New Orleans watercolor map!
I have been to New Orleans several years ago, and I LOVED this city. The food, the culture, and the unique spirit of this town cannot be compared to any other city in the world. So, in this map, I included my favorite landmarks: The Garden District with its glorious architecture, St. Louis Cathedral in the French Quarter, and some fun New Orleans elements (with a specific shout out to Mardi Gras, of course!)
A fun side note: I am proud to announce that this New Orleans watercolor map was included in a swag bag of Being Boss New Orleans business conference this year.
